    Can I get any 2013 AT ECU? Looking at a 2nd one to try and flash the TRD tune. Found a few for 60-80 bucks with about the same mileage as my truck. Wanted to give it a shot in case I need to replace it at any time.

    Spec Stage 3+ is likely the most expensive, but will handle everything you can throw at it. I don't feel like discussing all of the torque numbers and tires sizes while pushing it to the limits. Held its grip and yielded not.

    ACT makes clutches.

    Centerforce make clutches.

    Don't use Competition Clutch for our trucks.
    Too many failures. Literally. Witnessed quite a few.

    I can only best recommend Spec Stage 2+ and Spec Stage 3+. Due to my personal experiences.

    Edit* Don't forget exedy as well. I think someone mentioned URD's twin disk, for the truly powerful needs.

    So I did a little experimenting the last few weeks, figured I would share my report here.

    Basically lately I feel I haven’t been getting very good mpg (12.5 to
    15), and I wasn’t sure if something was wrong or if I had been enjoying the truck a little too much.
    So this last tank I totally babied the truck around. Well not babied, but on the freeway I have been trying go keep it around 65-70 mph (hard in cali, everyone wants to go 85+). So for the most part I followed that, but a few areas I did hit 75 when going down hill. And I only did like one pedal to the metal pull, maybe two in this tank.
    I filled up the truck tonight and much to my surprise, I had achieved 19.9 mpg! Of course it couldn’t just be 20 even.
    I am pretty happy with these results, thats about 70% fwy driving. But for a heavy truck on 34s, stock gearing, and a supercharger I am happy. And knowing that nothing is wrong with my truck, I just have to keep the mph down. I always knew it got better mpg at 55-70 mph, never knew it would be that big of a difference though.

    And this concludes my little experiment from the last two weekends. I figured why not post it since it has been slow in here today. Football must be keeping everyone busy :D

    i agree with your findings. weather has a huge impact as well. cooler temps provide much better hp output so when pampering with mileage tests you can do much better. tire weight is a factor. gyroscopic change from 33 to 34" tires is big. i just changed to 4:10 gears and my highway mileage suffers according. however having track star accelerating lauches makes it worth it. at 35 when i punch it (not full throttle) its goosebumps and grins.

    Yep, I average 13.5ish regularly but if I’m not in a hurry and doing more hwy, such as babying my messed up ds back from the rubicon, I think I got almost 18 with my heavy ass fully loaded self and 35’s. It’s all about how you drive.

    true, stop and go idle traffic with intermittent spaz boost runs hurt mine. i just dont GAF until its a road trip.

    Eggsactly. Luckily the truck isn’t a dd so poor mpg is not too important. Just need the trailer and tow rig in a few yrs and then who cares.

    36mpg avg on my trip to Cali this weekend.

    thats great! mine is dd. and until i have no moneys i really dont care about mileage. this is a purpose built performance truck. it gets what it gets. definately the coolest tile assult vehile in seattle too

    Hey I totally understand. But grabbing the dd last year was a game changer. Can mod at my leisure without worrying about being able to drive come Monday morning. Some badass Tacoma’s being dd’d out there. Many in this thread. Mine I dd in winter.

    my girlfriend only drives 4 times a month so i can use hers. but who the fuck would drive a kia instead of a boosted taco?!? but... its a backup.
