Back in the dark ages, the chrome on cars was all metal. Now it seems it is all shiny plastic and glued on. I'm not sure it will last.

It is a problem for those of us that grew up in the 50's and 60's. I will not own chrome wheels, but I like them, due to flaking issues that leads to loss of air pressure.

Plastic is double sided taped on, LOL, or it is a mylar decal.

My son bought a 2013 Ford F150 with a trailer package and a Eco Boost engine. I have to admit it is a nice comfortable truck.

A lot of new members in this thread. This is my 2009 EX cab 2WD Tacoma.

As long as we aren’t sitting on rockers, I’m too young for rockers. Not to young for strong coffee and beer (after 5pm):D

Thank you for the welcome. I’m still not real comfortable on this T.W. site.

Wow. Are you sure that you are in CA?
Sometimes we have it burning in Sept, but this week is supposed to be close to record highs.
Windows still open day and night. We can hear the creek through the windows. :)

It could be like a new pair of shoes. More comfortable after you wear them awhile.

I go light on the beer but can really hold my own with black coffee.
