@LocoLocal what broadheads are you using, fixed or mechanical?

 

I used fixed because I tend to think that simpler is better. When Rage really became, wait for it..."all the rage" 10-12 years ago I gave them a try and had a couple that failed to open. But, since then they have improved a lot and I have a couple of hunting buddies who use them and love them, one of them being a guy who takes 10-12 deer a year with his bow. I am not so convinced that they are more accurate than a fixed broadhead but there is no denying their cutting diameter is much larger.

 

I also have the DL of a big kid, so I've always preferred the KISS method and not having to worry about FPS and proper blade deployment.

 

Hey guys! Bailey, the rep from @Baja Designs, is in town. We were talking about doing a meet-up and grabbing a beer one night. Also he's currently in Springfield, VA but looking for suggestions on places to camp with his dog. Anyone have any ideas/suggestions?

 

I'm in Richmond. I have a farm 30 mins from me that you are welcome at. Shoot me over a PM and we'll chat. I do a lot more waterfowl hunting, but I have a few stands up too

I think I have the 1 inch ones but i will Check. Yes prinsu directly. I used the 1-1/2 inch on my setup but they sent me these by mistake.

 

I tried And it only lasted a year and he got bored. We do more camping and outdoors stuff then his pack did so it was kinda frustrating.

 

I’m down just let me know. Also Green ridge is nice and has some good spots.

Billy goat trail isn't far. Check it out...don't know what kind of camping he wants to do though.

 

If just wants light camping there's Burke lake or Prince William Forest. He can camp in my backyard if he wants some wildlife!

 

I got the impression he was just looking for a cheap place to stay until his lodging kicked in. Thank you for the suggestions
