His channel is great! He is overall an awesome dude, and he has unique style to training strongman. Most trainers focus on static strength for big guys and speed for smaller guys. Martins mixes both regardless of size, so not only is he strong AF, but despite being 350lbs+ he is also super quick and athletic. I love that style.

But that's the beauty of strongman! Its functional. People don't get that, and I think its underappreciated. A lot of folks on this forum can squat or dead lift in the 400-500lb range, but none of these people can lift that weight and go for a walk. Its insane. Right on. welcome.

I loved Wendler’s program back when I was doing it. Great routine.

So I’m assuming you spend like 2-3 hours lifting to get all that in?

One more critical question. How are you 6’4’’ and 300lbs and able to comfortably fit in a Tacoma?

Yep at least 2.5 hours including warmup.

Haha its not too bad fitting in my truck. Definitely feels a little tight and the seating position is a little weird, but its not awful.

Agreed, I also drink it black for several reasons. If I have time, I grind my own organic beans in the morning before I leave the house.
I always wince when I see people dumping those little flavored Coffee Mate things into what would have been a perfectly good cup of black coffee. I remember observing somebody pouring about 15 of those things into their cup at a gas station, and I just wondered about the amount of chemicals, sugar and other garbage they were about to put into their body. Scary stuff.

I watched his 36 hour fast video and in the mean time I ate 1500 calories. Couldn't even survive his 10 minute video.

I cannot do flavored creamers or syrups. They all have this disgusting aftertaste like chemicals and distain.

All the flavorings at Starbucks taste like burnt marshmellow. No matter what flavor it is.

I just like my plain ol black coffee.

Now I do like eggnog lattes at Starbucks that time of year. And yes they are very cleansing, but I still have 1-2 tall ones a year.

Today is my fast day and it is hell.

Going from eating every 1-2 hours and 5000 cals a day to nothing but some water sucks. But I feel so much better afterwards.

I’m lazy and cheap so I just get me cheap ass discount kcups for my regular cups of coffee.

I go to local roasters to enjoy my “fancy” coffees where cute baristas make me lattes with pretty designs :D

    I don’t know if I’d call a k cup a “good” cup of coffee :p
What is with you guys and calling it “organic” coffee? Coffee is fucking coffee. It gets grown on a plant. Picked. Processed either by a natural process or a water process. Sent to a roaster. Roasted. Bagged. Sent to you. It’s all organic. I hate that fucking word lol.

Also, if anyone wants to try good coffee, I highly recommend this place: happymugcoffee.com
If you order before 11am est (I think est) it gets shipped the same day. Also, they roast is the day they ship it and it’s usually 2 day shipping. The cost is one of the best I’ve seen for some of the freshest coffee you can order online. Only other way I know to get that fresh of coffee is roast it yourself or have a local roastery you can buy direct from.

I call it “organic” because that’s what the label says on the bean dispenser where I buy it so. I usually buy the coffee beans from Sprouts. It sure tastes better than all the other coffee I’ve had....Except for genuine Kenyan coffee(the stuff the do not export).

Give the place I linked in that quote a try. They have a bunch of great coffees. They have some that are always available and then they have some special blends that are only certain times of the year. I have yet to get a bag I did not thoroughly enjoy from them.
