    The lettering on my skid plate is bolted on....in fact I only put it on there after the whole pelfreybilt thing. I normally have a strict no fabricator sticker policy on my truck. (Except of course #Randyfab). So with the skid plate I can always remove it, clean it, paint it, and reapply it.

    That’s a good idea. I know in the past it’s plug welded on, which is just a breeding ground for corrosion.

    Yep! The kit I used came with some brushes but they are the same cheap regular and sponge brushes you can get at home depot.

    That's what I thought! I experimented with the rustoleum rattle can rust reformer and simple green as my degreaser on my hitch this summer, seemed to work well! I'm between that and biting the bullet on POR-15. Using a rattle can on/in close proximity to the truck always sketches me out haha
