Onza has 2 or 3 available in Skinwall and are pretty pricey. Maxxis has 2 that I know of: DHF and Ardent. WTB has a few as well depending on your needs.

Not all of them are available in all sizes, so I think your list will be pretty short once you spec your desired tire dimensions.

I currently have 27.5x2.25 MAXXIS Ardent in both the exo and silkworm blk side wall. I do tend to slide out on fast turns sometimes. my buddies run the dhf and love them. I like the speed of the Ardent but am curious if the bigger knobs will help. they will be heavier also. my rear Ardent burped some air on an off camber landing and is now really out of true, I confirmed it is not the rim.

Chicks dig bigger knobs. Really helps your confidence too...on AND off the trail ;)

I switched to the new Maxxis Aggressor as a rear tire earlier this year. It works really well and feels like a better balance between speed and traction than the DHF I had back there before. But, in the same compound and carcass it’s wearing much faster, though I’ve done more rocky stuff (Moab, St George/Hurricane, Arizona) than usual; no mud yet either. As for skinwalls, sorry, rode those in the ‘80’s and not looking back :)

Mine is the Canyon, I chose the Onzas because they are 27.5x2.4. They are excellent tires, I have the Citius and the Ibex which are nearly identical to the Maxxis DHR and DHF. My buddy wanted gunwalls in 2.6 or 2.8 so he found the Maxxis Rekon+ in a 2.8.

Well, My spoke snapping steeziness apparently maxed out on saturday and I have to get a new front rim. They went to fix it and it's rather...egg shaped.

I just started with them when I got the new bike last year and haven't looked back... or... for new shoes because bike/new baby poor! Some of my buddies give me crap because they're so clapped out (example below), but I like them. I probably only like them because I don't know any better, but that works for me, LOL. Mostly shorter rides here, but they've done alright at the downhill park we have down here (spider mountain TX). Yep, that's an AL Jeffsy I snatched up last year (first full sus bike and my first crack into trail riding) and I think I'll ride it till the hubs explode! Although... my grips are warn through to the rivets or whatever holds them onto the lock clamps. What's out there for slightly larger diameter? I get blisters on my hands right between the palm and the base of my ring/middle fingers. Any suggestions?

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
    Looks pimp

I’m a big fan of Ergon grips. Not overly aggressive, and supple rubber. Most models come in a couple diameter options.
