Looks fantastic! How is the gapping at the seams? I can't tell if that front gap is pretty wide or if it is just the angle.

Thanks! I love the change this brings to my truck. As for the gaps it has to be the angle of the pic. The gap between the hood and fenders is uniform and even from windshield to headlights. We didn't measure but I'd guess about 1/8" all the way up and down, on both sides. I assumed that we might have to, and it's very common to have to, adjust the new hood. As long as you don't mess with the hood hinges, and we didn't, the better your odds on hood lining up right away. Unless you were to break out some kind of NASA measuring device and split hairs you wouldn't be able to tell if the spacing was off any in person.

Just a reminder. You have to drive with your hazards on for a couple days. :). Just because your going to be staring at that hood for most of your drive......

Couple close ups for you. Needs maybe a 64th of an inch adjustment on (in pics) front left side. Honestly, I'm not messing with it. It looks pretty spot on to squared and the correct spacing in person.

. Shopping for some decals to help with the glare. Got Meso Stage 1.5 taillights installed the other day so hazards are BRIGHT!

He also sent me some resistors to stop the hyper flash. Just got them in mail today. Maybe I should leave them out for a couple of days while I'm busy staring at... eh I mean driving with my new hood o_O

Only unexpected thing I ran into was we couldn't get the washer line holder clips off of the old hood. Probably could have but didn't want to hack up the paint or ruin the clips. So we just temporarly zip tied the water lines up and I will just buy 4 new clips to pop in when I get a chance. I think they cost a couple bucks for all 4.

Not really. The box had puncture on the bottom. I had them label it on the paperwork. Then I opened it up in my garage and my heart sank.

I'm sorry this happened, I'm hope ReveMoto will get you taken care of quickly. I just wish it was delivered perfect the first time. I see these pics and I'm wondering how in the world all that damage happened. Looks like someone had a football game on top of it.

@Jessrin in the pictures is that debre from unpacking or all scratches? And it looks like the whole corner is broken off. Am I seeing this correctly?

The corner is bend at a 90 degree angle. And the paint is chipped off. That’s bare metal showing there. Actually both corners are bent completely down.

I just scrolled back up in the thread, thinking "Hey, let's give that guy from this thread who works at FedEx a joking hard time for breaking this dude's hood!"

...oh, right. That was you.:pout:
