Went to Wyoming last week for 6 days. Ran across something that I'll never see here in NC. One of my dream to try Whiskeys.
Probably nothing fancy to some of you guys but to me... This is something special I only dreamed of ever finding.
Any ideas what it might be?

Sorta goes with the Wyoming / Yellow stone setting.

Had about 1/3 of the bottle of Buffalo Trace gone when I decided to drop it at San G this weekend. Stupid cold weather had my hands too numb to hold onto it :annoyed:

Short stubby bottle looks like Breckenridge.

dropped my son off for a sleepover saturday and the father asked if I had time for a drink. Sure do.
Now this guy is a bourbon collector and has about 180 bottles currently. All ranging in prices from bottom to top shelf. He offered me some New Riff which is only available in Kentucky but he somehow came across a bottle. Its 100p and only aged 4 years. I was not disappointed.

i can't compete. he is in a different tax bracket and its also his hobby. The study area is now arraigned by distillers because his display bar ran out of room. First world problems.

So? It doesn't have to be a competition; just return the favor and offer him a drink if he ever drops his kid off for an overnight. Doesn't have to be a $100 bottle.

I can only dream of Sr. Thought I'd never even see this one. We stopped our 1st day in Wyoming to grab a water at a gas station to sip on during our 3 hour drive up to West Yellowstone from Jackson Hole. Walked in and there was Buffalo Trace something you rarely see here. So I grabbed a bottle of BT for my evening sipper while there and told the wife I would grab a bottle to snuggle into the luggage on the way home. When we got back to Jackson at then end of the week I stopped to get the bottle of BT and there ole' Jr was. Needless to say I quickly forgot about the Buffalo Trace.

Lincoln, if you make it that way, had a bunch of on the shelf items I haven't seen here. Some BP Elijah Craig, Knob Creek Variants. Nothing super rare or hard to come by, but a good selection.
