I love IPAs all day long and the bitterness of teas and coffee but the cold brew just magnifies it.

I will try to dilute it, but even like cold regular coffee to me is mega bitter.

Someone at work mentioned it so it brought the whole topic back up

 

I’m also cheating and consuming caffeine way past when I’m allowed but couldn’t help it

 

At least paste some links to papers that discuss the health benefits.... or deficits. According to the State of California, coffee may cause Cancer. According to the state of Coffee, California is Cancer. I don't know who is right?!

ALL sources agree that eggnog should never be mixed with coffee, else risking bloody diarrhea.

 

Pretty sure California is cancer.

Because I love the ocean too much to move. Also the weather.
I went to Arizona a couple weeks back and it was 105+ almost every day. Can't go outside in that shit. So I'm stuck in California. Maybe in a few years I'll consider leaving. But not right now.

 

Hahhhha it was 113-115 like all last week down here in Texas and I work outside.

 

Exactly. Fuck that shit. Southern California has the best weather year round, hands down. No one will change my mind on that.

 

But california is the prettiest state I’ve ever been to. Would move there in a heartbeat if I could even with the hippies and liberals.

And a part of me does love how green they try to be. I think they go too far with some stuff but the whole being charged for not using a reusable bag, conserving water and no plastic bottles is something I can 100% get behind

 

Monterrey. 50-70 all year.

 

Water gets too cold up there. Plus more sharks. SoCal is BestCal.

I’m thinking of moving to Canada to get away from this effing heat. The first time it snows here I’m going out for a run nekid I swear.

I couldn’t live anywhere without 4 distinct seasons.
Also I’m not living anywhere where my tax bill means I have to cut my retirement investing in half to feed myself.

The shack I live in would cost prolly a mil in the bay area.

They won’t let me live there anyways cause I own too many guns.

I should rephrase. I need an ocean in which I can surf nearly any day of the year. My only other option for that is Hawaii (lived there for 5 years while going to school, their political state is worse than California) or Australia (equally expensive). So, I'm stuck here. My dad helped me buy a townhouse that is a mile from the beach, so I'm at least not renting. Yes, I could have gotten a mansion in Arizona or Texas or elsewhere for what I paid for this house, but I love where I live.

The gun laws definitely suck, but I don't shoot that much anymore anyways, and it's only a few hour drive to Arizona or Nevada and my friends have all the guns. We do have legal weed though, so that's pretty great.

I am on board for this! ha!

 

The latest I consume caffeine is 5pm, and in bed at 10pm. I am good if I utilize the caffeine (like go to the gym) though. If not, I'd probably not do too well.
