Busy weekend for me. Installed 4.56 gears from East Coast Gear Supply, installed Wheeler's SuperBumps, and installed my gusseted spindles painted red :D. Super happy with the gearing choice for my 6 speed. Ready for my 500 mile break in period to be over so I can really try them out and feel what power I've reclaimed.

Sorry for the lack of pictures, but I was too busy working. I'm lucky I remembered to get this one.

Gave the Taco a well deserved bath and detail. Last Wednesday my 18 year Grandson and I left on Road trip to celebrate my 77th birthday and his going into the Marines we stoped in Boise to pick up the last of his stuff from his mom's as he and his twin brother and sister have lived with us for the last 2 years. We then went on to Salt Lake City to visit Kindig it Design and take the tour. The weather was raining all the way so the truck got plenty of road grime. On the way home we stopped and the Bonneville Salt Flats and found out we could go out on the flats. What a blast Grandson made a couple of runs at 90 and I made a few with one up near 110. But like I told him not wise as this was our way home and no safety equipment, if we blew a tire or something broke we would be in world of hurts. A number of people were out there running but everybody behaved and didn't get crazy. So yesterday gave it a bath and jacking it up pressure washed the underside to remove any salt.

Good not great. A little wonky in some aspects, but very easy install. I'm still working out the kinks. Nice interface and pretty user-friendly. Android Auto will occasionally cut out, but for the $250 bucks it's worth the money. its the Sony XAV-AX100

Pretty sure that’s not the shape of a Taco front end in the pic. He did say they stopped by Kindig it design...

Engine bay of the Kindig cars, in for a de tune want it more street able. Saw many cars for new season but sworn to no telling, and cars from prior season in for maintenance and upgrades or changes. The paint is expensive 820 a gallon for some colors as far as speed on the salt flats other people were running also so had to be careful so we all could have fun. Saw one family in a newer Suburban go by about 80 windows down hoots and hollern. I was following the blue line used by the real racers and at close to 110 the front end got light and start hunting and as the track was a little rough backed out for safety sake. Tacoma are as aerodynamic as a brick and air gets under the front and fun starts.
