Retrofit and BHLM Headlights

I’m at the shop getting these installed. Regarding the 194 Male connector to the @MESO Stage I’s, it does not seem to fit with the stock turn signal connector. Am I missing an adaptor?

 

you need to pull the grey plug out of the stock headlights. remove the bulb and that's where the adapter plugs into

 

I did text you a bit ago, but yes like meso said you need to pull the grey connector out of the headlight, pull the bulb out, and plug that in it’s place.

And it’s the side marker, not the turn signal.

Dang, I just saw those retro fits! Was sitting on the highway half the day due to an accident. Should've check TW while I was doing nothing. Beautiful set and great price!

 

Full retrofit, with a few options, done by @no vtec 4me in the wild! One of my favorite mods I've done with the truck.

The headlights do look cool though

 

Hey guys, specifically people waiting on their orders:

Ive been SUPER busy, doing maintenance on my two vehicles in preparation to sell them, and got back two sets of lights with some damage on them so that kind of slows things down. I basically fell behind a week or so on headlights. Going to be banging a set out this weekend, then should be back to the regularly scheduled program. Thank you everyone for your patience!

 

Thanks for the update! I'm just focusing on other mods while I wait. Tacoma world eats all of my cash and productivity at work.

 

Can you elaborate on which wires were wrong? I think I have the same issue (first time using my high beams since I've installed these). Thanks!

 

High beams to high beams, driver side truck side low to OEM labeled harness I think. Passenger low left hanging. Should be good to go.

 

Another set knocked off the list!

 

I bought that pre made set of lights that were posted for sale last week and installed them Saturday. I have to say Kevin did a great job on them, they look perfect. Pretty easy to get installed, mostly just time consuming. Worst part was cleaning up the wiring afterwards.

Dumb ass question:

If you order the DRL “switchbacks”. The amber portion of the DRL light up for turns and the white lights up for for all non-turn activity? And under this assumption so should MESO- switchbacks side signals?

And is there any update when MESO will have the stage 2s back in stock?
