    I think our end goal is to go there I was hoping somewhere a little closer to get our feet wet over a weekend and test if we would enjoy doing a week long big bend trip.

    i am. I went tubeless right before I moved down here and then my bike sat for awhile. Ever since then I cant get them to stay sealed at the bead. I think im going to have to completely pull the tires off and clean the stans out of them. I had a bike shop redo them but it didnt take. BUt yeah I def support going tubeless. I ahve geax saguaros with the bontrager tubeless kits and stans. Love the setup. Was a whole new bike afterwards.

    I just threw am oreillys house battery in it for now so I can get to work reliably. I'll investigate other options when I have more time and extra money.
