    Mick Mars is probably the most criminally underrated guitarist ever. I think on the 94 Crue album with John Corabi was some of his best playing.

    There's a lot of older metal bands who are still putting out good music. Suicidal Tendencies, Anthrax, even Megadeth. Mike Muir and ST remain fairly prolific, and it's still awesome music. Leans back towards the punk side these days.

    Metallica is definitely NOT one of them.
