    Guy on the news drove through a flooded road in New River. Stalled his old Toyota truck out as it sucked in water. Miraculously started back up and he drove it out! Nothing can stop a yota truck! Not even an idiot driver!

    Probably wasn’t stalled because of water ingestion, that pretty much kills motors... my bet is it stalled because he let the revs go too low and the tailpipe was blocked by water. Water douche will stall but not hydrolock.

    Yeah you’re mostly likely right. I got lucky one time with my old lifted 84 4x4. Pulled the plugs out and cranked it a few times to clear the cylinders. Drained and put new oil in and drove it all the way back home no problem!
