You only did a 2 tube bypass? 1 compression and 1 rebound?

Wasn't what I was asking. With only a two tube he'll only have a bump and catch zone and won't have much tun-ability in between.

    It’s has 3 tubes. 2 compression, 1 rebound.
Then the king hydro bumps behind them

Yeah triple. Sorry, I was referring to the tube layout (type 1/type 2). Can’t wait! It’s going to be a learning curve on tuning. I might just go out to one of those demo days and have it legit tuned by someone with more experience than I.

I misread. I thought he said 2 tube, not layout 2.

Or did you he change that... o_O

    Whole lotta stuff
I've got their 2.0x2" Tacoma kit on backorder. They recently did a redesign of the kit to go to a threaded bump, which is cheap in comparison to the threaded bump kit offering from king at $825. My invoice is $595 out the door so I'll be reporting back once I have them. They offer 10% to TW members as well.

The closer to vertical the shock, the easier it is to tune, because the force from the axle is more linear.

Think of a right triangle formed by the axle, top shock tab, and an imaginary point on the frame directly above the axle. As the angle down at the axle changes it effects the force going into the shock.

Hey y’all, I’m getting close to setting up my spring under on my 1st gen ext cab, I’m using the h70/e30 Deaver pack and was interested to see if anyone had any information or photos of similar setups so I can prepare for how much weight etc to run in the rear so I don’t stink bug it too bad. Thanks!

I plan on 2 35" spares with the usual aluminum jack etc. with that same setup - I'll put the spares in the bed and see how it affects the height. I'm 4x4 so if you're 2wd you may want to raise your ride height / get lift spindles anyway.

Got a question out of ignorance, curiosity, and different styles of wheeling. But why 2 spares and a jack like that. I get the point of you are racing but for the avg person I don't see the point. I would think the added weight would be a negative and limit carrying other spares without be ungodly heavy.

Here on the East Coast even with sharp rocks and such where we can easily roll a bead cut a tire down we only run one spare. Typically have a hi-lift and bottle jack to change them. A few people will run 2 spares one in stock location and the other on a swing out or in the bed. We are typically closer to civilization too I would assume. But the rarity in which a tire goes down is pretty scarse. We are pretty hard on tires running them pretty low pressure and have them folded under the wheels in a lot of instances. Most people who actually wheel have a bunch of scars on the sidewalls and tread blocks chunking out. I've seen more tierods, spindles, diffs etc go down more so than tires.
