talk about a long day. stuck at work 14 hours because they sent me the wrong calipers for my car twice.. and it was my ride home. lol

I hear ya. Spent 13hrs at work. Had a major breakdown at a cellar right when I was heading home. Then had to go fuel tractors after the repair.

im paid by the job. so thos 14 hours i got paid 8 since the last bit of the day was for my vehicle. oh well

 

That stinks. I get paid hourly. The overtime during harvest is going to pay my move to utah. (Hopefully)

 

overtime is one thing i miss. i get alot of perks working for a dealer.

but the pay setup kinda blows. its great when your booking tons of hours. but slow seasons hurt

 

Fun fact: they actually grow potatoes around here in a few fields.

Even in canada. But last year they froze and we had to make up the difference this last season.

 

Same here, corn and soybeans, cotton and wheat. But there are a few potato farms. Not very many, though.
