Hello! I've decided to get a 4x4 regular cab tacoma, but am having trouble picking between manual and auto. I live in Wisconsin and I need to be able to navigate through rough winters. Any advice would be great. Thanks!

Personally I would say to get an automatic. I would not suggest a manual transmission unless you are driving a sports car.

One thing to count on here is the consistence of the same questions being posted, and re posted and posted and re posted....

That's true. However, the same person posting the exact same thread twice within two hours is a bit much.

Not to rag on the OP, and this is likely a hijack, but in general:

X2; That would reduce the volume of posts here by, probably, 75%.

Because people learn by asking questions, and the personal experiences of others are a vital source of information. That's why.

so basically youre saying that because someone else likes driving an auto over a manual, they should get an auto?. a person should drive what they feel comfertable driving. not what other people like.

No I'm saying that because others have experience with Toyota transmissions that the OP may not, he would appreciate some "advice" on what to watch out for, what's recommended, etc. Nothing wrong with that. Smart shopping if you ask me.

Thats not really called for the other guy was just stating that he had already made this same thread and it has answers in there. There was no reason for a 2nd post with the same question when there are some responses in his first thread.
I think we can see who the dick is. Thanks for helping the op out with your comment, we all appreciate it.
