ok so here the deal,
i want to change my ATF fluid with drain and fill.
was curious if anyone remotely local has done it for there 2nd gen at all and would be willing to "coach" me through it so i can do the remaining changes alone.
im mechanically inclined and do all my own work but def dont wanna f*ck up the trans in anyway

ithaca, rochester, buffalo or the around areas?

Practice getting into temp check mode. If you can do that, then you are set and wont need supervision.

Can't Fuck up anything by just going into temp check mode. For filling, just remember it has to be running and to plug it before you shut it off.

 

Solid advice! I screwed that up when I was checking my fluid, and before I realized it, it leaked out about 1/2 quart

 

I think someone reported they jumped the wrong pins and immediately saw smoke coming out of the dash. Idk
