Super easy, simply unsnap the sides and you’re in. If I needed to get at something up toward the front of the bed I’d only unsnap the first few.

For your squat, have you looked into "ROADMASTER ACTIVE SUSPENSION"? Worked great for my truck. FabFour steel rear bumper, SnugTop shell, tool box (heavy). Adjusted to the .040" spacer. Good luck. Hope this helped. https://activesuspension.com

 

I second the suggestion to look at RMAS. The system improved my towing capability while reducing the natural squat you get when hauling 4000+ lbs of trailer and camping gear.

 

Nothing but driving it.

 

Installed some @CaliRaisedLed slim light bar for the roof rack, in bumper light bar, and ditch lights for my brother's Quicksand.

Drove my taco to work today. Yes I said the dirty 4 letter word: WORK

 

Put my radio buttons on in the near dark. The feel is amazing.

 

Going out to knock the spiderwebs down out of the fender wells. May as well go for a walk while I'm out of my apartment.

 

Update: Looks like i'll be out of my taco until next week. Body shop found more damage under the bumper than originally thought. Time to fill up the F-150

Theres a thread here with a link to toyota that gives dimensions on where to mount them. I'm sorry, but I can't remember what thread. I had American flag stickers in the same spot....so I cleaned the area, removed the stickers with heat gun, cleaned again, then clay bar'd the area. Badges seem to have good adhesive on them so I didn't add anymore.
