I was curious if you noticed any difference between the quad halogens and standard the duals.

    Congrats!
There are a few options for me. If I go new, I can add Geico's vehicle warranty to my policy for like $15 a month. It covers any mechanical breakdown with a $250 deductible. Much less expensive than a factory warranty and will cover pretty much anything.

If I go the delete route, I'll assume that I'm on the hook for everything, but might not delete til I get outside the 3/36 or 5/60 depending on a lot of things. I hate DEF and DPF systems. They kill these trucks.

The newest 6.7's really don't have any issues that I've seen. A simple delete and they're bulletproof.

    Damn jeep drivers....

These trucks are awesome. Glad it kept you safe!

The quad halogens were decent enough. The top 2 were more focused and the bottom 2 were more of a flood pattern. I added a drop-in LED kit that kept the same pattern, just more light and it's awesome! I had an LED kit in the F150 also so they were bright. The factory quad halogen on the rental is decent enough, not overwhelming but does well enough at night. The factory LEDs are bright as hell!

Shrug. I'm always looking, lol. Part of why I trade so frequently. "Wow, look at that deal!"

I'm a big fan of the current offerings in the HD segment now-days (with the exception of the brand new GM, but I really like the 18's).

I'm actually still pretty happy with the Ram. My only niggle (besides the mileage) is the fact that I don't have the 'light load' switch, so it bings at me and switches the screen to the tire display whenever I start it.

What don't you like about the '19's and '20's?

Oh the new ones have a switch so your TPMS doesn't trouble light when the tires are aired down? That's a great idea actually.

Oh, yeah, that don't matter one bit to me. I don't have to look at it, I'm inside (which is ugly as well incidentally).

I hear that the 2020 SooperDooty diesels are getting a 10 speed auto instead of the 6 speed. That worries me.

Seems they all are going that way, half ton, HD... When I bought my '17 Sierra, I could have either and no way I wanted that 10spd. But we better get used to it.

Not sure why you're worried; it'd be covered under the same warranty as your diesely emissions bits, and in terms of behavior it'd drive the same as a 6 speed. As I understand it, the new 10 speeds skip shift under a light load, so you'll only see it use all 10 speeds when you're towing.

I didn't say that just the outsides were ugly

Really, though, the new trucks are all ugly. It's just a matter of picking which homely beast you'd rather take home at last call.
Yeah, it lowers the thresholds for the TPMS light to kick on. It'd be handy, since when I'm not towing I run them a few pounds low to improve the ride and save my tires a bit of center wear.

F-ugly! The Denali looks alright, the lower models just look awkward. At least they’re better looking than the half tons though.
I wish mine had that! I hate looking at that idiot light on the dash when all 4 tires are at 50 psi.
Hmmm... I heard that about the gasser but not the diesel. Gasser is going to be a 7.3 mated to a 10 speed. You could be right about the diesel also but it certainly doesn’t need it.

    "...An all-new Ford-designed and Ford-built 10-speed heavy-duty TorqShift® automatic transmission is paired with the 7.3-liter V8 and third-generation 6.7-liter Power Stroke® diesel V8..."

Edit- not sure what Ford's smoking, though, if they think that a 7.3 liter is a compact package...
