Is this an SR5 or TRD?

this is a long discussion they can just be summed with just saying it's a SR5 with some added TRD offroad decals... if it doesn't have the locking rear diff it's definitely not a TRD offroad.

 

It’s an SR5 with a lift and sticker

SR5 hood, grille, rims, and badge

No side mirror turn signal = no TRD

It's an SR5, as stated earlier, you can see the light gray interior in the pictures. So far everything points to an SR5 that's just been modded.

 

is it grey or is it tan? Seriously asking i'm color blind, always thought it was tan/khaki

 

Well in my SR5 it's grey, unless I'm the color blind one, but it looks more grey to me, no hint of yellow/tan.

 

Unless your truck is from Canada, which comes with the SR5 fog bezel.

 

Or you opt to change them. I changed my fog bezel to the SR5, I actually like the SR5 bezels better than the TRD

This truck just shows how original configuration means nothing. They modify so easily that it becomes tough to tell what it was originally other than a Tacoma. That's a nice thing, each truck is a true personal representation of it's owner.

I know of someone who thought they bought a TRD OR (had the bed sticker) until they couldn’t find the locker button. Scammed!

 

I know someone who thought they bought a 4wd until they drove it off the lot and couldn't find the 4wd knob!

 

Taillight are different on a sr5 vs a sport or OR. Correct me if I'm not correct.

You can go on line with the vid and get the Maroni Sticker that should tell what it is and whats on it

 

Well it doesnt look like it has a sport hood and it certainly doesnt have any of the offroad black plastic flares or front bumper parts,, my guess its an SR5.

It must be a wanna be TRD.
