I love the downhill ergon grips on my DH bike.

Love my skinny deity grips on my bronson and stache though.

ESI silicone grips are awesome too, tons of vibration damping. They just don't last for shit in my neck of the woods, my bars constantly hit trees.
I just tried the Rev Grips. Really cool, much less hand fatigue and arm pump. Awesome for aggressive riding, but not really needed for smoother trails.

My current set of Ergons are about 2 months old. But the ends look like they’ve already seen a whole season due to smashing trees :anonymous:

I used to be meticulous about how I stored most everything; tools, gear, clothes, etc. Then I had kids....you learn to choose your battles.

30-35 are best. 35 has a super nice profile on 2.8.

That’s a good lookin toolbox. My home tool box is a mess, I need something bigger. My truck bag though, it’s on point for how cheap it was.
Makes sense, you should see my dad’s tool areas, drives me crazy whenever I’m home and need something hahaha

Haha dude I have ridden vans on flats down DH parks on Mt. Hood in Oregon, and Keystone CO. Never had any issues. And all of my lame local trails and bmx park. Get on Poshmark and you can get brand new vans for $15-$30 all day. I normally buy my vans from there.

I too have an AL Jeffsy that im in the process of pimping out because they dont offer an AL Pro Race. I like it quite a bit!

Any of you guys familiar with the Onza tire range?

I am sick and tired of waiting on maxxis to release more skinwall tires so, although im very brand loyal to maxxis, am looking at onzas. I currently ride DHR2 front and rear and was hoping to go Assegai front DHR2 rear.

On the Onzas this looks like it could mean going Canis front and Ibex rear

    Anyone ride these at all?

I'm looking at getting these same two tire styles also. but for the type of dirt we have in Texas (hard packed/sandy) I would run Ibex in front and Canis on the rear. I always heard that running a slightly smaller tire in the rear would help with decreasing rolling resistance. but I'm not 100%. Jenson has them both for a great price. Can anyone speak to running 2 styles front and rear and running 2 diff sizes front and rear? reason for/against?

Ibex front canis rear would work well. Maxxis DHF / Minion SS is a pretty similar and popular combo. As far as tire sizes go, people have run narrow in the rears. I run same width for no real reason other than they match, so I can't give personal feedback on that.
