Awesome! How much lift are you expecting from that combo in the front? I know you've been talking about running 33s. Do the eibachs alone give anything?

Well Dylan from Toytec said it sould be about 3" of lift with the 5100's and the new springs. I am going with 33/12.5's I hope I don't have to much cutting.

I spent just under 750 for everying with shipping and the coupon code and I will be instaling it next week at the Nor Cal Mod day.

I will be posting before and after pics next weekend. But I won't have the wheels & tires until I get back from NYC in November.

I perceive that in the context of how you asked that question, that it is about being able to get a "good" wheel alignment after installing a lift. Is that correct?

It would seem that whether UCA are "required" depends a lot for one's tolerance for some of the side effects of lifting our trucks.

Not sure how much this translates over to 2nd gens but on 1st gens it does seem possible to have a less than optimal (2.4 degrees) caster number and still be able to "like" the way the truck drives.

On my truck they were only able to attain a caster of 1.6/1.7. From some perspectives, this number is too low. So far, I've been able to tolerate it. I may at some point go with aftermarket UCAs but right now its not that bad.

All-Pro 3" Rear kit, Camburg Coilovers, 1" RB BL, 285/75/16's, and rear Lock Right locker Collecting 4wd parts to convert.
Send that diff drop kit back. If you are running 33's with a 3" lift there's no need for it i promise. But other than that, good set up for a first lift.

I know But I bought them for future applications I didn't to buy 5100's all around and end up selling them later because of an upgrade.

I'm going to see how it drives first.

I didn't put the lift on yet if I don't get it to align with the stock UCA's I will be buying after market ones.

Why would he need new gears at this point?

And cool setup JLee, I ran it awhile ago. You shouldn't have to much cutting to do.

You know i don't know i want to clear 33's so I'm going to go with 3" now the springs are apparently 3" higher so if I can get a 3" lift at 0 that's what I'm doing if not I might set it in the middle.

If anyone with this setup on a 1st gen can chime in that would be great.
