sighted in the .308 and 270 today. They now are officially ready for blood Both were off... but being back on target is nice!

 

I need to shoot my muzzle loader, 6.5 creedmore, the wife’s muzzle loader and .270, maybe we can load the kids up soon and do it. It’s too hot here now though, still in the 90’s. Muzzle loader doesn’t come in until November 2nd I think.

 

My muzzle loader is in Dec unless I try to get a bear with it in October. Its on my list of stuff to shoot also. Im making sure all my sights are tightened down also...I could have had an elk cow 2 seasons ago, had I checked the sight for tightness...

 

I have a swamp donkey hunt in a few weeks cant wait. Its opening day for Archery quota hunt in a WMA.

 

Any of you guys hunt North Cumberland WMA in TN?

we have youth hunt this weekend in VA. we have 3 VA hunt sites through facebook like TW. you can view but have to be a member to post. they have moderators also. Bet ive spent two hours goin threw and liking pics of youngins with there first deer.to me this is one of the best part of hunting.this was my youngest son way back in the day. his first deer

I get we’re on a Taco forum but does anyone on here hunt out of a T4R? Just trying to think how I can make that work. I guess maybe a hitch cargo carrier on back? Any help would be appreciated.

 

Maybe a weather tech ,but I would still be hesitant. I think you can pick up a cargo carrier pretty cheap from harbor freight.

 

While you're at Harbor Freight buying the cargo carrier, buy several tarps too.

I hunt out of a T4R. Depending on the hunt, if its close to town I'll throw my ice chest on top, or fold down the back seats. I've been wanting one of those hitch cargo carrier for a while now though.

 

The cargo hitch is good for keeping blood out of your truck and also you don’t have to lift the critter as high.

I made this one years ago and it folds up which is nice.
