The real question is, do you like them enough to weld them to your rig.
I am very impressed man, you got a welder, making some sweetness and looks like your having fun doing it.
What it comes down to is, do you want these suckers permanently.
Now you can cut these off later for sure, but the kicker is that you don’t want to be welding these on, cutting them off, and welding new ones on down the road.
That’s a whole lot of work when you could mount scab plates to them and just bolt them up. Yes it will take longer, but I bet you would be happy you did it.

Hello everyone! Just popping in to see if any of you can recommend a good scenic state park or camp ground in south GA. Must be within 4 hours of Jacksonville, FL. Ideally not too far from Savannah, GA too if possible since my family will be meeting up with my buddy's family who lives in Savannah.

We really want something beautiful, good for tent camping so not a lot of RVs and paved roads with pristine lawn care around like an RV park as I get enough of that crap in the burbs and I want to be away from it all.

Just wanting to "unplug" and get away with my 2 boys (2 and 3 year old) and wife and my buddy's 3 kids similar age so something with something to do there would be nice like some trails at least. Want to stay close to Jax if possible like I said since this will just be an after work Friday-sunday very short trip. (Most likely the women will want a bathroom )

Would LOVE it if there were some sort of mountains (I know this is more of a north GA request) or at least a good hill haha but not a deal breaker as I know the terrain is limited.

Anyway hope you guys have some good ideas for places you might have been or best local secrets.

    Thanks!

This doesn't answer your question, but you can have some fun in the Apalachicola National Forest near Tallahassee for a good unplugged weekend. Some good trails to drive through, a free public shooting range, and no RVs.

If it were me, I would camp out at Little or Big Talbot Island park, just south of Amelia Island. But that’s where your from, so getting away is key.

Just read you wanted to see mountains...and that ain’t happening in FL.

If you wanting to stay within 4hrs of Savannah, your almost at the north Ga mountains in that time frame.

    Resources:
    https://gastateparks.org/Camping
In the Menu drop down they have a section for Parks that is displayed on a Map. Useful when your trying to see what’s around the area.
