So your right. Google told me it’s pretty easy to find FCC license info. There are a bunch of online services that claim they will get you someone’s info with simply a plate number too.
But either way if someone wants your same basic info they’ll find it pretty easy.

You don't have to pay for the public FCC information, like you have to do for most other private information searches. Like I said "I know that if somebody really wants to find you, it's easy, but I see no reason to drive around quasi with my name and address on the plate".

Your plate refers to your 60 foot time of 1.48, right? I'm guessing by the battery switch it's a street/strip car.

If you are an amateur radio license holder, a Ham, you can have your FCC call on a vanity plate. Only the license holder can get that plate and the the plate itself relates to amateur radio. Look up that call sign and the holder's address is available as public information.

If someone wants to find you and you are on any social media, it's not too hard to do.

Love the plate and your avatar. We probably tread some of the same dirt. I'll take 395 even when it's the long way to places like Lassen or Oregon. The Eastern Sierra is one of my favorite drives and places. We're going up in a couple of weeks for some hikes, Fall colors, and off road exploring.

I may have said too much though. My wife says the first rule of the Eastern Sierra is we don't talk about the Eastern Sierra; too many people are showing up.

Yessir! My family lives in Oregon and I always take the 395 and extend my trip a couple days. I have done my trip 3 times this year already with probably one more in 2019.

I love to drive, I love to explore and I love to take the long route!

Hmmm.... “LNG ROUT” might be a better plate for me!

Social media gives out way more info than a plate. A guy on here put out a bet that if anyone could find his address he'd pay $25. I think it took less than 30 min of work, using only his forum handle to find his address.
You can look up people's plates as well though, for a cost.

Have to agree with you on this one. That’s a little too much info to stick on your plate.

For real, whenever I’m up there and I see a loaded tacoma, I wonder if I follow them on Instagram. Probably. There should be a specific channel on HAM that tacoma drivers use to connect wheels wheeling. Is there one...?

OK, so I know I'm side barring this a bit, but I'm geekin' out on the Camaro a little. I would estimate that translate into a mid to high 10 second quarter? I guess in the 9's for an eighth? Maybe you should change your name to Mister Holeshot.

I like this one better but it's up to you. This is a plate you could put on a future vehicle so ...it's...ah...economical.
