I woke up this morning to my dog ripping the longest loudest fart I've ever heard from a dog. He's just standing there at the foot of the bed with that dopey half smiling half satisfied slightly confused look he makes after he sneezes, ass blasting like a trumpet solo from a mariachi player at the river walk. I didn't know if I was supposed to yell at him or give him a cookie. Solid 8 seconds. I was about to applaud when the smell hit me like a loaded Blue Bell truck running late to the HEB in Laredo. Pretty certain all the hair in my nose fell out. Needless to say he's spending the day outside because there's no doubt in my mind he found and ate toxic waste and I'm not about to do foundation work when his toxic poo eats a hole in the floor.
