    It's complicated.
I don't remember seeing that on my install. Is there anything printed on the other side of it?

I had the gap as well, I filled it with some black butyl putty rope.

Nothing printed. Seems like a cap for something but no idea what. Didn’t see a spot it would pop into anywhere.

Edit: just figured it out. Not from the truck. Popped off something I had my tools on and it found its way right under the door where I was working.

To those with the "Gap" issue. It's normal. We all have it. Meso even mentioned it many pages ago somewhere. Meso said "It's a normal function."

It's really gonna be that simple if you already have the puddles installed?

For those with a significant gap.
I have noticed that the cause can be interference with screws that mount the LEDs and the mirrors plastic ribs or wirings.
On my power mirrors, I was able to get a near perfect fit by just moving the LED around.

    It's complicated.
I took a set of calipers, and measured the MESO covers vs. stock; the MESO are actually a few millimeters smaller/narrower.

Little harder when you have a sunroof drain. Just tuck and zip tie. Just don’t zip tie the air bag

Unclip red harness. Push down into dash cavity. Put green harness where red was.

Guessing you have a 2019 - as do I. I noticed that my friend's 2018 did NOT have the second clip located towards the bottom of the A-Pillar which retains the two factory harnesses. I basically just removed that entire clip, and relocated the two harness connectors forwards towards the windshield. It's a lot easier to do if the two connectors aren't being held together by that clip.

I figured it out and then look at the post. Exactly what I did. Yay! I cut the ziptie clip and cleaned it up. Slid another new ziptie in through it.

I know. I haven’t lost any but I’ve lost some other things that just don’t make any sense when I found them. Like wtf?! How?

I moved the retaining clip to the Meso clip, pushed all associated wires & plug down toward the dash, and used no zip ties in the area. My A pillar looks like nothing ever was done to it, meaning it has no bulge problems.

The entire install took me just over 2 hours. Had a few difficulties that were mostly just time consuming to overcome. The difficulties I had were both the driver's and passenger door boots. The driver's side has more in it already so it was tougher then the passenger side. For some reason, likely the fact I am VERY right handed, the driver's door boot was a real pain to get out.

The only other issue I had was not a problem with the mod as much as with my truck and the port installed tailgate power lock. It was scotch tapped to a couple wires in the group that needed to be pulled out, so I removed the tailgate wires from the taps. The trouble came in getting them back in the taps, once in I tested the locks and it was no working. After about 5 attempts to verify the taps were good and failed tests I decided "F" it and just closed everything up and everything BUT the tailgate lock was perfect and light was fading in the driveway. I gathered the tools I had out, shut the driver's door and when I locked it the #@%$#% tailgate worked. The moral of the story here is that IF your lock is taped on the DOOR side of the plug, which it likely is, the tailgate lock will NOT work until you plug it back into the truck.

As with every other mod I have gotten from @MESO it is just stellar work!! If you have difficulties with any of his mods, based on my experience (YMMV), it is not the mod but rather the installer. He has my admiration, and a good chuck of my wallet, for creating and delivering so many great products.

Great work as usual @MESO !!!
