A while back I installed a DDM Bi-Xenon kit. The output is awesome, but no matter how much aiming I do I still blind oncoming traffic, and I feel like a Dick driving at night. Can anyone recomend some good bulb H4 Bulbs ?

Yeah I agree, HIDs have their place, like in my audi where it has automatic head adjustors ( the law in europe if you have HIDs and should be the law here), so if you load up the back of the car the lights point themselves down.
I feel if you don't have automatic adjustors, HIDs should be high beam only.

As for bulbs, I like the ones Philips makes. They are about $25 at Kmart

Its more having the proper housing
If you have projectors like your supposed to you dont have to worry about blinding people as much with HID, because its a projector... even semi trucks have HID with projectors now because of distance of lighting and lower wattage usage
If you have the halogen housing your going to blind people... you can even see the tops of trees!

I had to play with mine for a long time before I felt comfortable with them. I traded vehicles and did some head on drives to see what was acceptable. Perks to you for taking others into consideration.

Where can I get these ?

The suspension is stock. Trust me I would like to keep them on ,but after numerous adjustments I cant get them to where I feel comfortable.

I'm going to keep them for possible projector retro.

Hahaha that's the truth hot spots like a mufug.

I also like Philips bulbs. They seem to be very good quality and last quite awhile. I started off with the Night Guide, went to the X-treme, and just lately the Crystalvison Ultras. The X-treme bulbs are very bright and I like them a lot. I went with the Crystalvision Ultras so my headlights would better match my LED turn signal/bumper lights (white with a hint of blue). The Crystalvisions are coated blue, but don't look blue when they are on. Essentially they are a filter so they won't be as bright as the X-treme..... still nice and bright though.

they're nice and brite. ...but they won't last. i've given up trying to find a quality aftermarket bulb. ....can't get more than a year or so out of any of them before they blow.

in my vw i've got bosch 90/130W H4's....this is way over the 50/65W stock bulbs but i've got a relay kit

the overwattage bulbs don't last very long (year or so max)

i'd get some 50/65W bosch bulbs and get a relay kit to up the power TO the bulbs (it does make a difference)

I commend you on being considerate to on coming traffic, personally I don't know how these things were ever allowed thru D.O.T. seeing how big a deal it was just to upgrade to halogen bulbs. Great for offroad but I'd like to make them illegal for highway use

You sir are an idiot !! Sounds like something I'd hear out of a 16 year old
