    Hey guys, I'm probably one of the older new members but I've owned toyota trucks for about fifty years. I currently own a 2010 TRD Off Road with 130k on the clock. It's a great truck but I like my new one better. My new one is a 2018 TRD Off Road with the crawl feature that I haven't had a chance to try yet. I've only had it two weeks so I'm still learning all the things this truck has that my 10 doesn't. My 10 has experience though...it's done the Trail Ridge Road and Pike's Peak and it's seen a grizzly in Yellowstone and taken me on a tour through the Little Big Horn. It got me safely into some place in South Dakota after putting a piece of rock through a tire in the Badlands under Rushmore. It has responded with me to an unknown amount of emergency fire calls and has carried me over the sand dunes of Sicily Drop Zone in Fort Bragg. I'll put it out for sale eventually but I intend to drive it along with the new one so that I don't just pile on the miles. Glad to be on here and look forward to finding out new stuff about my trucks.

    welcome! my experience with crawl control: 4 low and the rear locker will get you out of most shit. Crawl control has seemed to solve the problem when those two don't quite cut it, but it sounds sketchy and makes noises that one would assume isn't good (except it's fine, that's just the nature of the feature)
