Digging your attitude. My wife however, not so much...

    What I hear everyday:
“Honey why do we need to put 7k into the truck? It drives just fine! Can’t you find something cheaper that does the same thing?”

I just laugh and walk away now.

You’re doing better than me. I just don’t tell her how much I spend, and if I do, I cut the price by 40% or she will kill me

The issue for me is that we share a bank account... I can’t hide shit lol. Considering selling a kidney or two at this point.

Haha, "you made me do it!"

But seriously, I'm hoping that Christmas Bonus + working Saturdays will cover this next "phase" of mods...

My wife thought that too until we went off-roading and now she is all in. She was like I don’t understand why you need stupid skid plates. Then we smashed the hell out of them and she was like ok, let’s get some bumpers too!

Don’t know if this helps, 315 75r16 4.5bs with 1” spacer 5.29’s wheelers super bumps w/ 3/8” spacer caster 3.5 spindle and cam gussets. Rubs rarely when fully stuffed in the rocks. The biggest problem I’ve found is the wimpy steering rack in these trucks can’t handle 35’s toe got knocked out 2 this season. Running bigger tires =$ lol9D74DC10-3464-4DA4-B868-415BF81B4816.jpg

Yeah, I mean our last trip resulted in a few dings and scrapes underneath and she got pretty onboard with skids... so I'm gaining traction there lol.

Problem is, you kinda can. Buy an FZJ80 with high miles, cut the fenders, 4 inch lift, 37s. sliders. Call it a day.
