    Fisher only looked like the coach everyone thought he was because of Jameis. A standout QB can do that for you.
    Cam Newton (Chizik), Jameis (fisher), mariota (Chip), Johnny Drama (Sumlin), Andrew Luck (Harbaugh).

    All those coaches are with new teams and haven’t had the same success since they lost their star QB.

    To be fair, Chip had success before Mariota too. He had Vernon Adams, Darron Thomas and Jeremiah Masoli. He also had LaMichael James, Kenjon Barner.. etc. Chip actually didn't get the success from Mariota, that was all Helfrich (who squandered it with mediocre recruiting).

    And they swung and miss hugely with Willie and cant afford to buy him out (extend him for life IMO) I mean when Jimbo had the most winning class ever and only get 1 championship out of it you know you failed as a coach, what did they win like 52 games over 4 years? I highly agree a lot of coaches strike gold with a qb and their talent carries them over their actual coaching ability.
