Guys can you run the 888’s with 5100 on the SECOND clip for a FULL 3” lift? If so I’m gonna order from HEADSTRONG in a day or so. Any positive feedback would be great. I want a full 3” for 285/70/17 with no rub on my daily driver. Thank you!

No idea, I went a different route but kept it at 2” for performance and run those tires.

You don't buy a truck for its fucking fenders!
    2.5" lift w/35's
I ran 887s on the second clip and they were good for a while, but it put too much stress on my a-arm bushings. The bushings started to squeek when turning or moving slowly. I dropped it back down to the first clip and the squeeking went away. Also the ride was pretty harsh offroad.

I have full 3" on 887 plus a 1/2 top plate on drivers side and 1/4" on passanger. Watch your cv angles though. Its borderline.
But youll need cmc for those tires. I run them

I went 2nd clip on 2nd gen 5100s on my 3rd gen and 2888 coils for about 3 days. Rode like shit. Was way too rough. Dropped it back down to the 1st clip.

I run my 888's on the first clip and they ride really nice. About 2-1/4in of lift after settling for 7000 miles or so. I also run a 1/4in spacer on the driver's side. I don't clear 285-75R16's with -12 offset wheels, but I'm only rubbing on plastic. Never rubbed the body mount and I've yet to do any plastic trimming.

Does it rub the plastic under normal driving conditions? Driveways, speed bumps ect.

Yes, like when backing out of my driveway while turning, I'll rub a bit or sometimes backing out of a parking space. Also noticed I rub a bit when doing steep downhill switchbacks that are very tight while in drive. It wont rub in drive on a flat surface regardless of steering angle, just in reverse.

I neglected to mention earlier, but I also bought my lift from Headstrong and was very happy with them. The prices were good, shipping was fast and packaging was phenomenal. I ordered my front coils assembled and they looked great. Made the install extremely easy, and I had all four corners done in three hours.

    Right after install...
