    Tbh I would consider a Prius more as a DD if they didn't look like an ugly potato.
    But I also like to drive fast and make noises that a hybrid just cant produce. So I’ll take my smiles per gallon and burning oil smell of the Jetta anyday

    I’m with you on that one. I have inner peace when I’ve got a V8 in front of me and a good sound system to drown out the honking douchebags. I have to grandma drive my car to even achieve 25 mpg though. Prius drivers can Fred Flintstone the gas pedal and still get 100 mpg.

    I'm averaging 17mpg in my daily right now.

    ...gonna be for sale soon!
    If you stay out of boost, you're supposed to get 19-24mpg, but YMMV.

    Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
    I'm looking at a Corolla Hatchback when the wife starts working. 25k out the door, 55-60 MPG with the hybrid, 34-38 without. I spend roughly 100 a week in gas (13-14mpg, 75 mile round trip M-F). I would end up saving money after about 6 months even with a new car payment.

    Now that has some potential! Never really seen any newer Toyota hatches modified but I could definitely be persuaded to drive one :notsure:
    My DD Jetta has started to get the ole mod treatment. I have roughly 225 whp on a pretty standard tune (they advertise 250 but we all know thats BS), but highway milage is still around 29-32 MPG which isn’t bad considering the tacoma is around 14-15 with the S/c. Im Currently diagnosing some over rich fueling issues that could hopefully bump those numbers up.
