Well...that makes Chevy themselves posers...as they now put Z71 stickers on non 4x4 trucks.

I guess that's Chebbies version of the Prerunner. lol

So I got an SR5 DC, I 've done some serious mods to it, not trying to claim an off road or sport package but I do sport a plain TRD sticker that I found on line, after all I am an entusiast.

Is this considered gay? or maybe offensive to others with a sport or off road package? I dont really see a problem with it. Looks good to me!

Just buy one TRD and one SR5 like I did-- this cancels out all possible gayness completely.

Hmm.. Doesn't the "fresh from the dealer" TRD package come with Bilstein Shocks? I guess if you upped your ride to include that brand of absorbers, you can MAYBE get away with rocking a "TRD" sticker.MAYBE.?? I wouldn't do it. I have snowboard logos on my truck and don't ride as much as i used to, so im starting to feel like a poser just for not boarding as much as i should. sigh.

I had my Dad purchase mine while I was out in the field doing some training and he got a great deal, but thought it was an SR5. Come to find out, the dealership that the old woman had bought it from originally slapped those on to jack up the price. It's in NO WAY an SR5 and I'm too afraid of what they used to paste them on the truck to take em off and risk losing my paint in the process.

Its only gay if you try to duplicate the STOCK decals and pass the truck off as a trd. If its some cool aftermarket stuff that sock makes and its obvious the truck doesn't come with those decals, I say why not represent TRD. Its not like other trim levels of Tacomas arent quality vehicles anyhow.
