    Looks like thats a little on the cheap side. Seems the headgasket issue is pretty common for the 03-05 models. I guess it depends on how bad it is, if a warped head would be the next problem. Could get costly.....

    Question - Do used canopy prices fluctuate much or hold value well? Is it worth the time/effort to replace an existing Truxedo Tonneau for ~ 12 months use?

    I have the opportunity to buy a used Leer XR canopy to fit my '17 DCSB in my matching Blazing Blue Pearl color for $1,000. Looks to be in great shape and I think that's a great price, thing is I only plan on using it for a year until I can pickup my GFC. Thoughts?

    Once the initial cost is spent, canopies usually hold value of 1k-1.5k depending on the type. Unless someone wants to get rid of their canopy fast or its really old I don't many nice canopies for less than 1k. Even 1st gen 20 year old canopies I've seen for 600-800. So Id say purchasing for 1k you could easily recoup your cost.

    I would be seriously interested in this if you weren't wanting to trade bedsides... I had already mentioned my bedsides both have a dent, but I'd ideally modify the bumper a little so that i'd cut less off my bedsides, similar to how the CBI's are if you're familiar

    I’m familiar with cbi’s bumper, but I need the bedsides if I swap for a stock bumper. I’ve looked into used ones from junkyards but I’ll end up spending more than what I’m selling the bumper for. No other option that I’m aware of.
