I’ll be downloading duct sizing apps on WiFi later.
If I can’t do what I want in barn I’ll just stick window units everywhere. Already have 2 paid for.

 

I have never liked how they do the A/C duct work in in a house, been working around commercial stuff most of my career that what they put in houses just seems soooo wrong. I think it would work better if the system was like a complete circle/square, this would allow the air to pressurize completely through the hole system and then only allow air out by where you want it.

 

Kinda like I did my garden on drip system. Was a complete loop.
Had old neighbor drop in few weeks back for a look. Threw out a number and gave some advice. Called him the other day and he can’t get back out for about a month so call back. Had a guesstimate yesterday for 2x as much but she’s not able to think outside the box. Wanted to put a condensate pump in because slab is poured already. I told her to just run it thru the wall and outside. She couldn’t visualize it. I think she just sketches jobs and turns them into office for bid. Will still see what they come up with. Got another tomorrow.

 

I had a guy from GVTC tell me about duct work once, and he had explained it very well to me, goes along with your drip system. Ever since then this has always been on my mind, I know it costs more but in the end your are getting a better ventilating system.

 

Well the guesstimate yesterday was 16k
Told her don’t worry about writing it up. She said she would to see if she’s wrong.
I can get the equipment at cost.
