If you have good sleep quality you need less quantity and vice versa.

Snoring and vivid dreams are a good sign of poor sleep quality. Not sleeping deep enough or long enough prevents your body from reaching REM stage of sleep. This is where your body actually gets rest.

Sleep apnea is when you stop breathing while you sleep for, in some cases, minutes at a time. This causes low blood oxygen levels and can be fatal. This is what killed Reggie White.

All of these cause your diastolic (low) blood pressure number to be high. Which causes stress on you and your body and can cause strokes and heart attacks. This can obviously be fatal too.

I don't, I just had it angled down too much. What is a 360 bar mount? My favorite MTB videos are all shot from chest cameras.

 

hm, my previous videos were all from the handlebars and it just doesn't show the trail very well. The "GoPro Effect" is real, and to me the chest mount helps eliminate some of that.

narrow the view setting makes it a lot better for trails. You can still leave it on wide view, try medium view.

 

I'll try it out, wide view is somewhat unnecessary when all it adds to the frame is my arms lol

 

I don't snore and never can remember dreams.. all good signs i think

sleep apnea is weird because if you sleep alone and it doesn't wake you do you ever really know it's happening hmmm

Morning Bama! I think my house got all the rain yesterday/today. It rained for about 30 minutes really hard and was raining when I got up this AM.

that's scary, it'd be cool if the new smart watches can sense things like that you know, and if it does it makes an alarm go off to wake you on the watch and phone nearby.

 

I believe some of them do, but I could be wrong. My fitbit does a pretty good job tracking my sleep, all based on heart rate and movement. If no alarm, it at least can show warning signs if you know what to look for then you make the decision to go see someone if you're concerned.

 

yep I saw and read that too, makes me sort of want an apple watch now that I have an Iphone.

lol, no. flat. John Pate, that I just asked Lee if he knew, is my coworker here that lives in Gville. I was talking bikes with him this morning and just told him I'd like to get some pedals and some shoes since I keep losing my feet but not sure what I want to do to this bike and he said he thinks he's got some good pedals just laying in a box he'd give me. So that's cool lol. He said he's good friends with the Owner and knows Lee and the others down at Gville Outfitters.
