Hello, Tacoma World. First Post, Any advice would be appreciated! I just purchased Fox 2.5" Long Travel Coilovers, SPC Light Racing UCAS, Rear Fox shocks, Icon RXT Leaf pack, Wheelers U-Bolt Flip, & Extended Read Brake Lines. I plan on setting the rear on the first setting so ~1.8 inches of lift and I want to set my front about level so around 2.3 inches of lift. What else do I need to do my setup 100% correct? I think I need a sway bar relocation bracket , however, the guy at Wheelers Offroad told me he thinks the Fox Coil-Overs come with them. Do anyone know? I also think I should upgrade the ECGS bushing. I currently am running a 2 inch spacer and have no vibes so I don't know if a diff drop kit, etc. is necessary Idk. What else do you guys think I need, what am I missing, thanks for your time my dudes

Getting more than 2" of lift out of the Fox's (after it settles) can prove difficult with the light springs they ship with.

They say 1-3", they will settle an entire inch? that seems like a lot. I'm not disagreeing. I just didn't go with Fox over king or Icon because they were cheaper. I thought they were top quality

Fox only come with 600 lbs springs last time I checked, which is fine for 2nd gen tacomas. On your 3rd gen, like mine, I swapped out to 650 lbs springs. King also may come with 600 lbs. Icon come with 650 lbs. Basically, there is no vendor making specific 2nd and 3rd gen coilover (last time I checked), but some sellers offer a 650 and 700 lb coil swap for a nominal fee.

Edit: Vendors do make a specific 2nd gen coilover, thats fine. Problem is, no vendor made a specific 3rd gen coilover. It was just a carryover from 2nd gen, public consensuses is 650 lbs should be standard spring rate for 3rd gen. Otherwise you will be cranking down coilover and may still not have your desired lift.

Oh, I see what you're saying. This is what I referenced when deciding not to upgraded to a stiffer spring. I think with the preload I have the 600lb spring should be okay. I have no aftermarket bumper, etc.

It's my understanding that they are spec'd as 1-3 for the 2nd gen trucks.

Yeah, on fox's website it says 0-3" for a 2018 Tacoma but who the hell knows. If anyone on here can give me a for sure answer that would be awesome. They are in the mail though so no turning back. When I get them installed and after they settle I will post photos.

I'm running the Foxs at .375" thread showing past their recommended preload and am sitting at MAYBE 1.75" of lift if I'm generous. This is with a 50lb aluminum bumper, winch, and dual batteries up front. I will swap out to 14 x 650 or 700 in the future as they sag more. There is a discussion thread in the suspension forum about the Foxs as well.

    35" tires.

Great Looking truck, man. I found the thread I think you're talking about. Lots of good information about the fox's. I honestly wish I would of found it before I made my purchase. Not that it would of changed my decision I just feel Like I could of used more guidance through this whole process. I hope I can get as close to 2 inches as possible and I will be happy since my truck looks to be a little lighter than yours. My current front spacer is 2 inches and I think it looks great just rides like crap off road. thanks for the feedback.
