One guy here got 600 over invoice, more than 2 k off msrp. He got a good deal. I was quoted 900 over invoice. I'm going in today with that offer and see if I can get them to 899 over. It pays to negotiate in person.

Well I just meant ~$2k. Just back calculated one using Coscto's invoice price and it looks like this place is charging around $750 over invoice and that's just the price listed on their website.

I am waiting on mine. I was told I would get it for $46,800 plus TTL so MSRP more or less.

Army Green Automatic with locking tailgate.

Just put a deposit down for a 2020 AC sport 6 speed, $2000 off MSRP. I'm happy with it, just awaiting a delivery date.

For my area the builder shows just the standard tech package as a stand alone option. I can only configure the advanced tech if I get a premium option. I wonder if they will build them with just the advanced tech package eventually.

I am sure most of you guys are aware of this...I sat down with my dealer and went over the numbers and they tried to convey me to buy 6K of extended warranty on a 2020 OR. This would have brought MSRP to a little over 50k... If you're new I would suggest you really look at the numbers and what dealers are asking. Price gouging is insane here in the Portland area right now.

Who needs an extended warranty on a Tacoma? Take the two years that comes with the purchase and never look back. I told them to pack sand on that shit when I bought my '16.

I agree I just couldn’t even believe they were trying to offer that in the first place. It was almost disrespectful haha

Most dealerships make the most money in the back office. I've had my biggest arguments with a dealership in the finance office trying to sell me all the extra crap.

Anyone ever had Toyota transfer a car from another dealer? I found the truck I want, but it's 1,200mi away so I'm not sure if it's more cost effective to do a fly and buy, or just have it sent to me.

Dealers do it all the time. Not sure that most do it that far, but my local dealer did a 5 state radius search for the truck I wanted and was willing to hit up any of those dealers to get it.

They do transfers for sure. If you're thinking about getting it do some homework first so you don't get slapped with crazy double taxes, registration, fees, etc. I picked up mine two states over and 900 miles away and it was worth it for my situation, but might not be with yours. What setup are you looking for and is there any other inventory coming your way locally that's comparable?

Limited Trim, Super White, black interior.

Haven't found any in the Southeast. The state that has the truck doesn't charge tax - so I'd just end up paying it when I register the truck in FL which is fine.
