Is there anywhere around Puget Sound to pick up a NorthStar 27F AGM battery? Called Battery Systems in south Seattle, but they don't have it in stock.

This is the one I chose. Can save around 20% I think with a coupon and ordering online but pick up at the store of your choice.

The Amazon battery has an option to add a 3 year warranty for another $64. Pacific power batteries comes with a prorated 4 year warranty for their price.

 

Anybody got anything going on this weekend in the Seattle/Tacoma area? I'll be up there!

I went with the same battery recently from batteries + bulbs after almost getting stranded in the woods when my OEM went tits up, 3pedals for the win haha. I bought it on my work account for an additonal 20%off It fit right in the factory spot after massaging the battery hold down a little.

 

That's what I've been told, that it will work with the stock tray.

 

That's with the 27F? That's the battery I was looking at getting when it's time, but I had planned on getting the 27F toyota tray and tie-down. That's good news if those aren't needed (that tray is expensive

I think so. I mean, that's the information passed on to me by some seasoned mod'rs. So, unless it's all been a giant ruse, I would put money on it fitting. : )

 

Mine went right in no problems or mods. My stock battery died at work so I jumped the truck took it over to Pacific Power Batteries and swapped it in the parking lot to save the trip for the core charge. No muss no fuss.

 

Since you have a 2nd gen, did you have a 27F in there to begin with? All 3rd gen come with a 24F, even with the tow package.
