I'm thinking there's never going to be a better time to pick up a nice C6Z, and keep the Tacoma.

I learned my lesson buying first model year vehicles with the 2016; even though for all intents and purposes, it has been a solid truck that's never let me down.

2022 Vette if I don't have a kid on the way by then is my strike date. 22 was my number when I used to race.

    Tacoma + C6Z = Killer Combo. That's what I run. No ragrets.

I like the C8 too, as tempting as it is, I'm thinking the same as @barcelona7568 as waiting on the following year(s) for any major/minor fixes.

A truck for a sports car?
    Uh, No!

I had my days (years) with sports cars, they're fun, but unless you do track days, I don't see the point.

If I can get 18% to 20% off the msrp, will totally do it, might have to wait until the end of 2020 but well worth it,

Sold my Z in my separation. Miss the thing every day. New purchase of the Tacoma has helped a ton.

Waiting for the right time for a ZR1

Probably not for me. I'm not much of a GM person and I like to have AWD/4WD. It's hard to not have AWD/4WD once you've had it. If I were to buy a RWD sports coupe, it'd be the new Supra.

Besides, I'm on the hunt for an old Audi Quattro. It's been too long since I lost a lot of money on an old AWD car (RIP Outback).

Coming from a Audi TT to a Tacoma was a huge difference, still love the Tacoma but always love the Targa top idea of the corvette and 495hp

The C8 is going to be a sweet ride for sure! Very sad that Toyota decided to make the new Supra under a complete BMW platform etc. with a ridiculous price as well. The C8 starting MSRP is under 59k, 495 horsepower and 470 lb-ft. So, who in their right mind would buy a Supra???...
