In my experience, LED lamps are non-serviceable. The first units I saw on a production vehicle (JW Speaker manufactured units) would regularly blow out the drivers that powered the LEDs, being replaced under warranty a time or too. Updated units started appearing and now failure is rare.

Most LED lights will have a decent warranty. Not sure what Toyota will do for warranty when upgrading an older truck. Obviously only the part would be warrantied.

I am positive that aftermarket vendor(s) will see an opportunity and start selling a wiring harness that adapts the 2 electrical connectors. Vendors already sell one for the Tundra that adapts earlier halogen lights to the newer LED headlight assemblies to make it a simple plug-n-play conversion. This vendor also sells the Tundra OEM LED headlight assemblies for $650 a pair...

I'm jealous... Dealer is telling me that they cannot get me one until October 18th... But they did give me a quote of $3,000 off compared to when I built it online so at least I have that going for me. It pays to live in an area where Pro's aren't in high demand.

If you're referring to my post then sure, but I can't even drop a deposit down or guarantee a vehicle in my name yet others are already getting theirs. They just know YMM & accessories but won't do anything for me until then.

Demand for anything and everything in California is high... the pros will sell for 60k before 11% tax will still get off the lot no problems... I think it’s really about building a working relationship with a competent sales manager and being transparent on what you want. End of the day, is about making money for them, if ur showing them potential then I’m sure they will find a way. If they can do 3k off msrp on a pro in army green, 6 months is even worth the wait! And if you are okay with paying 60k for a AG green I’m sure dealers in California can ship you one before the week end lol.

I am lucky I'm not in Cali, I was born there but grew up in SE Georgia. Visited a few times throughout my life and everything there (Cali) has at LEAST 10% upcharge compared to where I live now. But I gave the honesty part a shot and it seemed to have been beneficial, as you stated. I am slightly impatient but you're right, the longer I wait will only help out more in the end. As long as I can live vicariously though you I think it will help... Or make it worse, who knows.

honestly thats a amazing price... when the BMW M models came out with LCI (life cycle updates) they ran 3k a side, and people with older models would bomb rush these units... but then again is a known thing to be shallow owning a BMW right lol......... seriously tho 1.3k to get 2020 headlights is unbeatable.

haha its true what they say... good things come to those who wait... i mean i did mention i was in line since may. how i really squeeze to the #1 spot is another story... ill leave that for the imaginations and memes...but the 2020s should be flooding in quite a bit starting November, its just the army green got put on limited limited production from what i hear, how true is that? take it with a grain of salt but looking at dealer inventory and orders coming in, it seems major dealerships have roughly 1 AG per month, where little dealerships are left to trade for thus enabling mark up even easier...
