I've had a few non-impact sockets explode on me before I could afford the high-end impact sockets.

Couldn't let my street creed with the experienced mechanics get hurt by using non-Snap-On lol

Same here. And they have a short attention span so I can really only get maybe 10 minutes or so of heavy use.

Yep, but for those 10 minutes they're awesome. My 1/2" impact and jigsaw do really well, though. It's my drill and grinder that suck on run time.

Bent the hell out of a 6' solid steel pry bar too but I couldn't keep that one.

Really happy I went with the corded grinder. I'd be going insane swapping batteries. Everything except for two drills is corded and I'm good with it lol

    DAMN nice big ass tools!

Only ever broke one socket in my life, on the race car, it just cracked and pissed me off. Kept trying to use it until I figured out why it wasn't doing stuff...

VERY happy with the Ridgid batteries. Mounted up two chargers in the garage, and I have 5 big packs, and two small. Oddly. never even need to remove the big packs from the multi-driver, and the drill. They are all numbered and I rotate them tho. Also got the "job site" blower, and now no extension cords after mowing!

I hope you kept the bent pry bar as a special tool lol

I need to get a corded grinder. Mine's not bad if I'm using cutting disks.

I just stick conduit over the 3/4" breaker bar if I need! No one cares if it bends. Only corded tools I have left are a sabre saw, and an rotary, oh, and that Mouse sander. Unless you are talking the Delta table saw, belt sander, and a few like that that take up lots of room!

I locked it into the pipe vices on the back of the truck and used a skid steer with forks to bend it back (mostly) straight.

Wait till you snap off the socket portion and weld on a socket to make an easy belt replacement tool. :anonymous:

It's that dark spot under the big tree where the grass is always much greener than the rest of the yard. You know, if you park your truck in it it doesn't get as hot but the birds shit all over your truck.

Don't have that truck useful stuff in the small garage = housebuilding stuff. Have to fix the router table, wife killed the belt on the belt sander and broke the blade on the little saw I can't remember the name of - oh scroll saw.
