    I'm installing my OME lift sunday, I will post pics and measurements for those who would like to see and have some measurements!

    Anyone know just how much you need to compress the coils to install them on the new struts? Just curious.

    And now its lifted! Supposed to be a 3" lift, ended up being just over 2.5"??? It is the OME 3" from Toytec with top spacers installed.[​IMG]

    This is the kit I used, OME 3". It was easy to install and rides great! I did the top plate spacers and 885 springs. It was about 750.00 with shipping. The kit gave me 2.5 inches in the front and about 2.25 in the rear. I am doing the shims and carrier bearing drop this weekend. I would suggest getting those 2 items when ordering the lift. I have a very, very slight vibration when letting off the throttle. It is very minor.

    I wonder if i would have the same vibration with having a manual. To most people these kits are easy. I have no clue how to do this stuff. What do you think the cost would be to install it?

    I'm not sure about the vibration, I would say a shop would charge about 5hrs labor.

    I will get you some tomorrow, It took me about 4 hours with no power tools, and little help from my 13 and 15 year olds;) I have done several lifts on many types of vehicles and this one was the easiest I've ever done. That being said-I have experience and with no experience it may be a different story. If you get the front struts with the coils already installed on them it would be much easier!!!:D
