    Trails for sure.

How long does it take to do the North Trail? Figure half a day round trip? https://goo.gl/maps/K5cNNKmHPvyhuPuS8

All depends on number of trucks, I can do entire trail one way in about 2 hours with another truck. If it’s more like the time we did South Trail with big group - expect it to be 12 hours.

Why would you ever run the trails that way again?

Just make smaller groups and do it correctly. Leave at spaced intervals, faster group leave 1st. (EUGENENE) :cookiemonster:

I think the wife and I plan on starting North trail around noon Saturday, be back to camp area before 5pm.

why is the black lake trail avoided? is it the pin stripey-ness of the trail or mud holes or rocky technical or rock steps or what? i have stood on the rock step that f-ed @Tridet167 driveshaft but there looked to be a drive around. are there alot more of those?

can it be done by someone with 31s, a winch and no concern about paint?

I’ve done it on my 265 that measure 30.5”

it’s all about the driver not the truck, if you know what you are doing you’ll be fine, otherwise...:bananadead:

    2A04FA92-B65F-4AF5-AA5D-AEC7FAB38BB7.jpg
I can lead those that want to do it, with 35s it’ll be walk in the park.
You’ll scratch the shit out of your truck, and might dent bed here and there, it’s not too bad.

In speaking with my parents the other night, we were talking about my childhood.

I was on the local swim team, and swam like a fish. I loved it. My parents loved that I enjoyed a sport. So they sent me every single summer I wanted to go to 'swim camp'. It was a boys camp that you could go for many different sports.

I was just a young kid, 7, 8 ,9, I had no idea where the camp was. My Dad swore it was on the way to Ardbeg. Sure enough it is!

I am 38 now, and I still think about those times at that camp. Some of the most fun I ever had as a child. Olympic gold medalists would come and coach us, swim with us. It was so exhilarating as a child to have a gold medalist give a single fuck about you.

I am 100% stopping in and looking around this time on the way.

    Camp Chikopi

The one thing that stands out to me, was the boxing ring. There was no fighting allowed outside the boxing ring. You had a problem with another kid. Find a coach and get the gloves. I saw several children get a good beating in there.

Coach 'Are you done yet? If not keep hitting each other!'

Eugene always said it was so bad that damage or guarantee etc.

I've since heard it's the same if not easier than concession which I've run. And it's really not that bad.
It's just a trail that if you take your time you should be ok. If you rush you'll fuck shit up. Cosmetic paint damage etc is possible everywhere so it's meh. But the mud is the main issue with black loop

If you like or don't mind mud then it's fine it's just if you hate mud like me you'll be more hesitant to run it.

I think it’s harder than concession, just because there is mud and tight turns. Rocks are easy to drive over, it’s the mud that’s challenging. concession is way wider compare to black loop.
