Yeah, That's kinda why I have the tank. It doesn't exactly fill a tire or 4, but it can help set a bead, etc... Plus, the 400P can re-fill it on the trail, too.

I've emptied my 5lb tank enough to figure out -

I can air up four 235/85/16 (31.5" tires) from 23-25psi to 42psi a total of 4 times, and have a little bit left to top off. I'm wondering if I can do 5 times but rather not chance it.

 

25 is what you air down to???

Well, I'm 2wd so I'm not doing anything stupid crazy...yet......

Although I do run e-range tires so I can really get down if I need to.

 

I run 265/75r16s. I aired down to ~18psi in my driveway, and I was able to get ONE tire up to 30-35psi, then maybe a couple more pounds in the 2nd tire. I started with a full 125 psi in my little harbor freight tank.

I was a little optimistic with what I thought the tank could do. As a result I actually don't carry it very often.

 

Makes sense.

When my co2 tank is full, it states 1000psi on the top gauge.

I've used it to fill my tires twice, and I just now went to check and the needle is pegged at 800psi.
