I prefer Kimber, but they are all fine tools.

Neither can I and I own 3... :anonymous:

They’re still not in the same league as a Wilson Combat, or other $3k firearms.

Correct, the paint isn't a huge deal.

Abandoning one's dog though.... That is unforgivably selfish, heartless, and cruel.

Headed out yesterday morning to a out of town VA appointment. Stopped to put coffee cups in a trash container along the way. Some lowlife had dumped 5 kittens, 5-6 weeks old there. Wife was really upset but we had to continue on. I told her we would check on the way home, plus I called the SO and the Corps of Engineers office. Nothing they can do. :(
The kittens were still there on the way back, but someone had left food and water for them.

Long story short, made some calls and found someone that was wanting kittens, and picked them up.

Karma is looking for some POS. I hope he or she gets found.

we grew up where if you couldnt take care of your animal...you "took care" of your animal, not dumping it off for someone else to deal with...

A$$hole, +1 for karma on them.
It's so much work to take them to almost any public place (grocery store, or whatever) and make a "free kittens" sign or just take them to a vet or some shelter...you know, places where people have an actual heart.

'Some' people suck. Certainly not the folks that took the kittens home.
btw those kittens were completely tame. They had to be born in a house around 'people' that do indeed suck.

Yep. I get that stuff changes and maybe you can no longer keep an animal due to reasons you have no choice in - but it's your responsibility to see that animal gets rehomed. Or in the worst case, euthanized. Nothing quite so heartbreaking as a dog waiting and waiting in vain for its person to come back for it.

I am most certainly aware that it isn't all people that suck...but in general, yes, they do in deed "suck".

Not true "owners" of pets. I think "we" probably treat our animals better than we treat our own selves. I know my little baby gets the golden treatment. Hell, she had a gurgly tummy this week, cooked her up a fresh batch of rice and ran to the store to get her some pepto (we were out) and a can of pumpkin. She's had such issues with her tummy since she was a pup that rice makes her do ALL the tricks. She loves rice! Silly girl.

Pic of tired pup...all the bouncy ball she could handle for the moment.

At Sam’s with the missus (she asked me to drive the truck so I know we’re going home loaded) and there’s a drunk or drug addict going apeshit in the produce section. Trying to get pics but I’m getting “the look.” They even started checking everyone’s IDs to get in, so no telling what’s up with this whackadoo.

Aaaaand he’s been “escorted” to the back by a bunch of employees. Guessing the cops are already on their way. Either that or I wouldn’t trust the pork chops for a couple of days.

They’re gone. Turned out it was a bunch of kids being stupid and not realizing that, in this day and age, that kind of outburst can be met with the business end of a muzzle. Had I not been standing with the missus I would have filming the dude for “posterity,” but it also occurred to us if he was truly unstable or had a weapon we’d been in the line of fire. Now those kids get to learn that their “joke” wasn’t so funny to everyone else.

What a truly fucked up place we’ve become where our first reaction is duck and cover/return fire.
