None man... I know I'll probably have to buff and wax tho... with maybe a light sanding

Get some of that wax with the fine grit in it and buff it with that then use regular wax to finish it off I had to do that on my tail gate

Whoa weird optical illusion seeing the truck mirrored in the background. My eyes focused on the truck then I saw the Tacoma over top of it. Thought it was a sweet camera filter or something. Mine did that too. Brake parts cleaner on a shop rag made quick work of it. Or you could wet sand it.

3k wet sand should be just fine. It will fade more and more over time and with washes as well.

I've used a few different ones, and the best bang for the buck so far is the ROAV DashCam C1 Pro. Has 2k video recording, parking mode, built in gps, wifi to connect to your phone, and most importantly it has a higher temperature operating range than most dashcams. I got mine during the last prime day sale for $70, normal price is $130.

Cheaper dashcams dont do well in south Texas summers, especially if you park in direct sunlight. Most cheaper cameras can only handle 120 degrees, for operating temperature, and it gets much hotter than that inside your vehicle. You also run the risk of the lithium battery in cheaper cameras exploding or catching fire.

If you dont want to spend more than $50, make sure the camera has a capacitor instead of a battery.

Yes, that's the one. So far I have not had it crap out on me this summer after having my truck sit in direct sunlight all day.

All of my previous dashcams would not start working until the AC was ran for about 10 minutes.

The screen is small and not very bright, so it wont be good if you are looking for something to be able to see what is in front of your truck when on the trails. This camera is really only meant as a video recorder in case of an accident for insurance purposes or for recording road trip videos.
