What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Reminds me that I should glue mine down before the snow starts falling. Had one come half-way out on a really windy day.

 

Now I have to start looking at my roof every day!

 

Mine pops off after every car wash, luckily haven't lost it yet.

 

That or double sided tape should last a while!

 

I see Flex Seal glue in my future.

While you have the glue out put a dab on those 2 rubber bumpers under your gas tank door. Those fall out real easy.

 

I agree. Those things jump out with the slightest touch. I'm down to 1 now.

 

No more air vent chrome! Also blacked the steering wheel logo, and did the grey trim around the screen and dash gloss black.

The rest of the chrome is next..

So funny, I'm usually ok with vinyl but just couldn't get it. So I used rubbing alcohol around the logo, then put some interior clean/protector on the wheel. Then cut the bottom of a plastic bag and taped around the logo and then hit it with 2 coats of plastic dip with the bag extended to keep the extra spray contained. After drying I took an exacto blade along the outside edge of the logo and peeled the excess off the wheel!

I think it's a sign to get a Prinsu or similar. Yup yup...

 

Since we all like to mod our trucks, just replace it with roof rack rails...

Ordered 24SEP. Just got it today and installed. No hyperflash except in reverse. In 35 years of driving I’ve never used a drop of blinker fluid for reverse. I don’t even remember learning it on drivers Ed.??

Ya! Mine jumps out when I was gently wiping/caressing her down.

 

How easy was that to install? Their site said you had to remove the front bumper to install?
